Work experience while you study
Expand your engineering skills with a $50M endowment
Daniel J. Riccio — a University of Massachusetts Amherst graduate and former senior Apple executive — has made a $50 million endowment to the College of Engineering (soon to be renamed the Riccio College of Engineering).
This gift will upgrade research facilities, fund top faculty, and expand scholarships and fellowships for engineering students. It includes the $5 million Riccio Research and Innovation Fund for cross-disciplinary projects and the $10 million Catalyst Fund for technology and health projects.
If you're an engineering major, this means more research opportunities, stronger funding, and expanded mentorship and collaboration with leading researchers. This creates a more vibrant engineering community at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
